Did you know that cows eat dried grass (hay)? Did you know that male pigs are called boars? These are just a few of the new learnings that have taken place in the classroom. We have been working *really* hard and learning about lots of different farm animals to prepare us for our Green Meadows field trip.
This week we learned about cows and pigs. We read several non-fiction books on
cows and
pigs and recorded our new learnings as a class. Then, students wrote one new learning they had about each animal.
