Happy Friday! What a great first week! We were very busy learning the routines and expectations of Stormonth. We also read a few books, did a project, and played!
We started our week by reading "The Kissing Hand." Chester even came to room 116 to visit us!
Then, we made our very own Chester! Everyone was really excited to make their very own Chester.

We did a lot of playing! We practiced how to "break" what we make (take it apart). We also practiced "freezing" when we hear the bell and cleaning up when told to melt.

On Friday Chester came back for another visit! We had to chase him around the school. When we finally found him, back in our room, he brought us a special Kissing Hand treat!

We finally found Chester back in our classroom and he brought us kissing hand cookies!
We read "Manners at the Table" prior to eating snack all week. We worked on washing our hands, using our napkin to wipe our mouth, chewing with our mouth closed, and saying please and thank you!
Great Job! Lauralee loved trying to find Chester today. She told everyone she saw today about him. She cannot wait to have a full week of school with all of her new friends and teacher. Thanks for caring for and loving our child:)
