Our Week in Review - October 13 - 17

What an awesome week! We headed to the pumpkin farm on a cold, wet, foggy, day... and we LOVED every second of it! We were wet and covered in mud when we returned - FUN!

In Readers Workshop we learned how to start at the front cover and carefully turn the pages of our books.

Olivia turns the page from the corner (AM)
Lauraless carefully turns the page (AM)
Luke finds the corner when he turns his page (PM)
Drew turns from the top corner (PM)
Claire opens her book by turning the corner of the front cover (PM)
This week in Literacy Stations we learned about the life cycle of the pumpkin. We will finish coloring them this week.

We meet our last two shape friends this week - Danny Diamond and Ollie Oval! Please continue to work on identifying shapes while you are out and about with your child!

As many of you have heard, I became a pet owner this past weekend! I will be spending all weekend snuggling this cute little guy!

Walter, our "furever" dog!
Oh, and this guy, too...

Benji is waiting to meet his "furever" family!
