Sorry for the delayed post! I have been spending countless hours trying to get all of my UWM finals completed!
Anyway, we have very been busy in our room. We have been learning different Nursery Rhymes over the past two weeks. Last week we learned "Hickory Dickory Dock." We read several different versions of the nursery rhyme. Then, students made their own clocks.

This week we learned the nursery rhyme "Humpty Dumpty." After we read several versions of the nursery rhyme, students were able to successfully put Humpty Dumpty together again! They also predicted why he fell off the wall.
On Friday, we had our Humpty Dumpty Egg drop!

Over the past two weeks in Writers Workshop we have learned that when you're done, you've just begun. We also learned that writers use shapes to make things look like they really do. Students have done an amazing job with their writing!
