Last week we read several different versions of "Mary Had a Little Lamb." Then, students created a lamb and predicted where the lamb headed the next day. There were some *creative* responses and I want to go along!
This week we read "The Gingerbread Man." Of course, he ran away from our class and we had to go on a wild goose gingerbread chase to get him back!

Once we found the gingerbread man, we took one bite of his body to ensure he wouldn't run off on us again. Then, we graphed our first bites!

We talked about why the gingerbread man would decide to climb on the fox's back instead of swimming across the river himself. We then tested out what would happen if he decided to swim!

After we read "Gingerbread Baby" students decorated their own house for him!
