We continued to work on our pet theme this week. We read "Cookie's Week" and wrote about what we think Cookie did during the next week! We then turned our writing into a class book.

We also talked about birds. We talked about how parrots are an unusual pet because they can talk like us! Students created their own parrot and wrote about what their parrot would say.

We completed our week with our Pet Show! Students were *so* excited to have their pet next to them all day. We even paraded our pets through the K5 classrooms! After the parade each pet was awarded a *special* ribbon!
