Our Week in Review - February 10 - 14

Happy Valentine's Day! We had an extremely busy week in room 116 this week!

In Writers Workshop we have been working really hard on stretching and writing the sounds we hear for our labels. This week several students chose to write an entire sentence about their story!

I went to Grammy and Papa's house and went in the basement (Elliott AM)

I played with the race play mobile (Sophie AM)

I went to the move (Grace AM)

I got a haircut (Alissyn AM)

Carson has been working for 3 days on his grocery store story! He has been working on labeling all of the food he saw while he was there (Carson PM)

I watched a movie (Ava PM)

I went to Disney on Ice (Jackson PM)

In Readers Workshop we have been working on reading with our reading buddies. This week reading buddies focused on saying what they see in the pictures.

We read several books about Valentine's Day. My personal favorite it "Love Monster." After we read the story, we made our own love monsters.
