This week in Writers Workshop we finally completed our nonfiction bears books! Students have been asking hourly when they get to bring them home and share them with their families. I told them after we reflect on our books they can bring them home!
We talked about the reflection checklist and students carefully went through their books page by page. After doing the reflection, some students realized they still had some editing to complete. I have been so impressed with the work they are doing! Our literacy coach, Mrs. Witkov, said it looks like K5 students wrote these books! Please celebrate your child's hard work!

This week we sorted farm animals and non farm animals. We labeled a few of the animals, too.
Our *last* letter of the week is Zz (hi smiley, little line goes across, big line slides down, little line goes across).
Only 13 school days left... my heart is already breaking...
I hope that you all enjoy your extra stay home days! Mr. Jordan and I recently decided to foster rescue dogs. We will be spending our weekend playing and snuggling with Oliver! We have a feeling he is going to be adopted quickly!
