Our Week in Review - November 24 - 26

Even though we only had two days of school this week - we still packed in a lot of learning and a little bit *lot* of fun!

On Monday we created patterned headbands like the Native Americans.

For snack we planted corn seeds and fish in soil - just like the Native Americans taught the pilgrims (the fish provides nutrients for the soil).

On Tuesday we another story about the first Thanksgiving and created retell bracelets. Have your child share the story at home!

Thanksgiving Day (Reprint) (Paperback)


For snack, we learned about the history of popcorn, and made our own popcorn on the stove!


First we put the oil and 3 kernels in the pot
Then we put on the lid
Next we waited and listened for the 3 kernels to pop
PM class listening for the 3 kernels 
We added more seeds and voila
