Our Week in Review - October 27 - 31

Happy *almost* November! We had another busy week in our room. Check out what we did!

In Readers Workshop we learned that readers look at and think about the front cover of their book. They think - what could my book be about?

We read "Where's My Mummy?" and talked about what our "Mummies" might do when we feel scared.

This week we met some of the North Shore Firefighters! They came into our school to teach us about fire prevention.

They taught us to stop, drop, and roll

Teaching us to dial 911 in an emergency

To begin our Halloween celebration we made Witches' Brew! Ingredients included, owl eyes, colored flies, blood drops, chicken nails, cat claws, skeleton teeth, and many more! We *loved* mixing it all together and gobbling it up!
