Our Week in Review - September 23 - 27

We completed our color weeks this week! Thank you so much to all of the families who brought in snacks for us - we *loved* them!

Monday was brown day. We read "Stuck in the Mud" and painted ourselves to look like we were stuck in the mud! We ate dirt cake and worms for snack - yum!

Joey stuck in the mud (PM).
Bella stuck in the mud (PM).
Caedyn stuck in the mud (AM).
Kalin stuck in the mud (AM).
Tuesday was white day. We read "Pete the Cat I Love My White Shoes." We made our own Pete the Cats and ate marshmallows (and graham crackers) for snack.

Mya's Pete (AM).
Rex's Pete (AM).
Aden's Pete (AM).
Ivy's Pete (PM).
Wednesday was pink day. We read "Pinkalicious" and "frosted" pink cupcakes. We also ate pink cupcakes for snack.

Finley's pink cupcake (AM).
Willy's pink cupcake (AM).
PM has not "frosted" their cupcakes yet!

Thursday was gray day. We read "Elmer" and used sticky tape to decorate our own Elmer. We ate tried mushrooms for snack.

Elliott's Elmer (AM).
Annabelle's Elmer (PM).
Lauren's Elmer (PM).
Ava's Elmer (PM).
Friday was rainbow day! We read "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" After we read the story, we talked about how we correctly hold our crayons.  We *colored* two of the pictures from the story using the correct crayon grip.  Feel free to finish coloring (extra crayon grip practice) and cut up the pictures at home (extra scissor practice) and retell the story together!

Our next theme is pumpkins! Enjoy your weekend!

Love,
Mrs. Koscielniak
