Monday seemed a little sad for a lot of my friends. They came in asking what color day it was and I told them that the color days were finished. However, the sadness didn't last long! Once we got to our morning message everyone noticed that there were new shape friends to meet! Everyone has been asking when they arrive what shape we will meet today. Families, please meet our new friends...
We have two more friends to meet next week - Ollie Oval and Danny Diamond.
We also met another new friend this week - Mat Man. Mat Man is a part of our Handwriting Without Tears program. Mat Man is used to teach children how to draw a person. On Tuesday, kids came in and drew a picture of themselves. Then, we sang, built, and drew Mat Man. Students then went back and drew a second picture of themselves. The difference is amazing!
